Bought Samson 33" Longtails for my Deluxe.....

No issues at all. Sounds nice. Got them before Samson came out with theirs. Only complaint is the heat shields are so big. Would have preferred a smaller diameter but overall nice pipes.

helps to have a swivel socket and a short extension for tightening the lower exhaust flange nut on the rear jug. its a tight fit
also helps to have a few extra flange nuts on hand for when you drop one and it slides under the oil; bag never to be seen again.
make sure you have some antiseize to coat the 02 sensor threads.
clean the pipes with glass cleaner or other solvent BEFORE you start the engine

You may have to call Samson direct. I would do it before they ship your exhaust out.

I dont have a pic but it comes with the exhaust. It just a flatter version of the stock bracket. Best guess they supply it for clearance for the cross over head pipe.

The seat /coil bracket (best guess) is for clearance. It is just a flat version of the stock bracket. Now I could be totally wrong here, I have only seen one set of V&H true duals. Which was a while ago. But I THINK I remember seeing the cross over head pipe being (squished down or tapered down )to fit with the stock seat /coil bracket. Then it opens back up.Samson does not have that .The head pipe is the same diameter through out. This is the only reason I can think for the flatter bracket.
