Stupid Potholes!!!

They might call you, but take a pic of the hole you hit (before they send someone out to fill it). and get ur money man!
I look at it like this. I pay Taxes, state and fed, and also have all my vehicles registered and I also pay taxes on them ("for road use") so, FIX the Fuken Roads!

Fishtail, did the wheel have a real obvious bend to it or did you notice it from the bike wobbling or handling funny. The reason I ask is that I hit one of those stupid raised manhole covers the other day. It was probably only about three inches or so high but I hit it doing about 30 (sun in my eyes) and got a pretty good jolt from it. I've put about a hundred miles on the bike since and everything seems fine handling wise, I'm just wondering if I should get the bike checked out just in case. I looked pretty close myself but didn't see any obvious problems.
It bent the rim on the right side, but it held air. It wobbled a little at low speed. I was riding with a group at night, and I hit that SOB doing about 70. I looked about 18 inches wide and about a foot deep. Usually the guys riding up front do a pretty good job of pointing that stuff out, but no one saw it. If you don't have obvious problems, I guess it's up to you to decide if having some piece of mind is worth having to pay to check it out.

Considering it was a central Kentucky pothole, it would have had that very same accent.
