Done with the apes.

PO of my bike installed some beach bars. I could only ride about 20-30 min before I started getting a sharp pain between my shoulder blades. I ordered a stock set of bars online for about $35. Haven't had a problem since. I love my stock bars, have thought about a small set of hangers though, just to try them out.

Everyone really is different. I also have a springer classic (it's black BTW) and I've just changed from low bars to a set of 16 inch wild ones on 3 inch risers. I really missed riding with apes since I sold my dyna; three weeks ago!
The problem with low bars for me, is that if I ride more than a hundred miles, my lower back is in serious pain. With apes, I'm kept upright and have no back pain after long rides.
I also love how apes handle. I'm 6'1 and my hands are no more numb than they were with the low bars. But that's more to do with the cold in Ireland than how high my bars are.
It was a long three weeks without apes.. hahaha
