Default Predictions for '08 Softails???

Do you think there will be any changes for the '08 model HDs. Then again what else could they do?

They could put out a model that copies the looks of your bike. That would certainly skyrocket sales.

Funny you should mention that. Over here there is talk in the industry about loud pipes being targeted in the next 2-5 years. I think pre 1980 HD will be excempt and everything else will have to comply to 91db sound levels. As I said it is only talk at this point...

i gotta tell ya, i find it very ironic that they keep making the harley motor's bigger and bigger, but they gotta be quieter and quieter....just dont make no sense to meseems like quite acontradiction

I wouldn't be surprised if 2008 is a year of few, if any, change. However, since I am often wrong when it comes to predicting things...expect major changes

I'm guessing 08s will be the same as the 07 except for different paint schemes. Maybe a couple refinments the the engine?

Agree..... When a guy I know had a twin cam 88 tested for noise, with a stock standard exhaust system the engine and exhaust was over 93db??

Maybe one day they might go like the v-rod engines?
