If you have an equalizer for the rear, you shouldn't have any issues. Removed mine this past winter, and they aren't going back on. My hands work just fine. Just always keep in mind that oncoming traffic doesn't know you're turning and ride accordingly.

As long as you're legal in the state you're registered in, you can't be penalized in other states if they have different regulations.
