Well I said some negative stuff about my Vee rubber tire but let me clarify. If you want a show bike then go see DB but if you have a daily driver and you dont detail much a vee rubber might work for you. Mine cleaned up pretty good this spring. It is not as good as a DB but I will not change until this one pops threads...its not bad and I'm tubeless with no problems.
Motown, The VEE that I had on my sled not only had brown walls but it wore out fast and uneven. IMO didnt think there was a saving there. In fact back then the dealers were selling that tire for 3 bills. I have over 3000 miles on my DB WW and its showing very little wear. That is well worth paying the extra i think. I have over 25k miles on my bike so its far from a show bike. I ride the **** out of my sled in the corners and the tire I have on sticks to the road killer. I never felt comfortable cornering with the VEE. Thats just me.
