Is the first one an Avon that everyone had trouble (EDIT - Sorry I meant the Vee not Avon) with the WW? You can have any tire of choice in the 120/70/21s made into a WW by Tab at DB for less than $399.

Not sure what brand the second one is, but I'm wondering if they may be having them made through DB? Or maybe there is someone else making custom WW? May be worth a call to HH to ask what they are and where they're coming from, $279 isn't a bad price.

+1 on DB. They quoted me a lot less than $399.

I've never heard of the second brand either. kinda sketchy they don't even tell you the brand of the tire. And what do they mean by "no overseas scraps"?

Hot Hawgs (2nd brand) uses a Shinko Tire. I assume overseas scraps are referring to the Vee WW Tires. Thats what they used to sell before the Shinko's with a ww added to them.

We almsot always have the DB 120/70/21 WWW in stock. They are the most beautiful WWW's around. They are not inexpensive but you get what you pay for.

VEE is the one that is a Pc of ****. DB is the way to go. Around 3 bills for a perfect WWW. $400 is a lot for a tire.
