You should get one of those tool bags ... with a folding hex/torx key set, a needle nose pliers, some zip ties and most important, vice grips.

congrats on bike.. my rule though my bikes always older (usually need more tools lol) I ride real basic tools, bulbs, black tape, little roll of haywire, cresent wrench, good quality multibit... then add and change Rule is, if I used it on a check up, then it goes in tool bag.
Shovel required ... a trailer lol Dyna has a little regular pouch Then again you guys are talkin newer bikes... and I'm bored over coffee gettin ready for work cheers
