1995 FLSTN Project is about to begin.
Alright guys, I've been lurking on this forum long enough and you've all given me the fever again so this is all your fault. I picked up a "MINT" 95 FLSTN Nostalgia yesterday and I'm going to start making it mine tomorrow. I'll post some before pics when I get home this evening. I'm going to narrow down my plans this weekend and start ordering parts Monday. I love the So Cal Vicla look but I like the vintage vibe of Ryan Reeds bikes as well so I'm trying to decide which route I want to take. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way. Post up some inspiration if you'd like. Thanks in advance, Brian

Thanks John, I've always loved the Nostalgias. I ordered a new one in 93 (wish I still had it) and also had a 94 and a 96. I was on the verge of ordering a new Deluxe and a buddy of mine at the dealership I used to manage called me on this so I went and snagged it. I'm really looking forward to it. By the way, your 96 looks great.

Madsin, I here ya. I've studied every little detail of those Reed bikes and they are awesome. I'd love to have Ryan just build me one, but I don't have an extra $20k right now. I would in no way try to copy every detail, just maybe a similar style. Which of Reed's bikes does your buddy have? I look at those things all the time and can't decide which one I like best. The tan one is my current favorite.

Standing by for the fun to begin! Looking forward to watching your transformation unfold. I bought my 06 Deluxe back in November with 548 miles on her and thanks to the folks here I too took away a lot of ideas to make her mine and they spent all my money pretty quickly! LOL Now hurry up and post up some pics!
I think you still maintain the retro look with the socal style. One of my favorites on the Reed site, the Ron Thompson's Deluxe is I think similar to a socal style with the lowered front, looks like 2" and rear is tucking a little wheel, bigger wheel up front etc. No WWs or cholos, but still similar I think.
Good luck on your build! Subscribed!
