Drooled over the pics for a few minutes. Gonna look sweet. You have several options as far as lowering goes if you are trying to do it on the cheap. As far as the front goes you have the Progressive Dropin springs with Ricor Intiminators SE heavy oil. You can change out the tubes for FLH tubes which are already 2" shorter and will maintain a factory ride. Or, you could go with the Ness Dampers. What are your plans for the rear?
Just a side note on the intiminators. Mine showed up this afternoon. I read the install instructions. It says 5wt amsoil.
Krakkydoo, Your sled is going to look good brotha. What tires are you going with?
Stone
Well I goofed on the tires and ordered a Vee. I already told the dude I would take it before reading about db tires. Since I did that I am gonna give it a shot and prolly just do a Dunlop on the rear for now. If I am not happy with it I will be calling Tab.
DB WW way better. The whitewall is super white and doesnt turn brown like the Vee. The Metz tire wears way better and lasts longer. Use Dyna Beads for balanceing the tires. They work great.
i see that most of you on here with DNA mammoths have ordered from a third party but has anyone got there wheels straight from DNA? I ordered my Mammoths two months ago and they still dont have them in. Im on my last nerve with this company.
Sorry to hear about your luck. For products like this it is always best to order from a reputable dealer and not the manufacturer. Most dealers will have them in stock and if not you will usually have them within a month. Manufacturers are more apt to keep a dealer happy than a single individual. Dealer orders will get filled before a direct customer because dealers usually order in quantity.
