Default '10 vs '11 service manual for softail

My local dealer said he has a 2011 softail service manual and I can have it since he is having a hard time finding my owners manual on my bike. I have a 2010 fatboy lo, he said the service manual will be identical. Just want to know for sure if they will be identical.

Service and mechanical should be OK, but electrical will be different I think. They went to this canbus system on the 2011's, so wiring diagrams will not match to your bike.

But then the electrical stuff and wiring diagrams aren't in the owners manual anyway.

As for service etc. it is all in the service manual and way more detailed too.

Take it and see if you can find an owner's manual on ebay if you feel you need one.
Owner's manual is a watered down version of the Service Manual.
