I knew this would come up eventually... I'd rather build a bagger then buy one identical to every other bagger out there. What would you say to a rocker with a set of hard bags? I'm guessing 98% will be against it but it's my bike that's the beauty of it. Sure I'll have to make some struts bag mounts and while I'm at it a longer rear fender so the lines match. Bags will be completely removable too. Flame on haha!

To the op, you could always add a swing arm bag. They don't hold a whole lot but probably enough for a couple days. Speaking of which I'm gonna see just how much I can pack when I get home from work. As I just put mine on last week.

Those customized baggers are definitely growing on me and look awesome but i dont think i am ready for that "elderly" style of bike. lol say what you will just my preference.

It looks like you have bone shakers on that rocker. id love to hear what they sound like i almost went with those but chose the v&h BR 2-1 because i wasnt sure of fitment and knew the bone shakers would be insanely loud! The name has to say it all. What is your review of them?

I'm not ready for that style either which is why the bags will be removable. I plan on using them on my thousand mile weekends and pulling them when I don't want them on.

To be honest I'm slightly disappointed in the loudness, stock pipes with rush slipons non baffled were actually a bit louder. They also don't have heat shields so bluing is to be expected even with a good tune. My bike is running plenty rich with Jamie's tune on the pv still need to play with it. They're not bluing as fast as they were with the regular stage one upgrade. Front pipe also sticks out quite a bit so I had to change foot position before I got the boards. After I got the boards I put on the Harley goodies extensions and couldn't be happier. I'll probably buy another set as I do like them and they have an excellent tone from 65-85. That and the fact you can sweep the streets with them!

I have been exploring the idea of custom hard bags on my Rocker i bet it would be unique. Heartland has some on their website but they arent available yet.

I have a swingarm bag, but for long trips I have a tail bag and use 3m film to protect the paint. Bought a big roll of it and just remove it when I get home. Would be nice if I could find a good think static film that could be re-used.
