What years did you have to buy on the parts to make all that work?
Well while doing the research on the conversion I seen a few people had flat stock made the same as the chrome strut cover and the welded them on or you could go with a aftermarket fender and steel struts. I will never have a passenger so I wasn't worried about it.

I used all 2006 fsxt parts the wheel and pulley must be from a 06 ,swingarm and caliper can be from a 07 since There the same as 06. My local shop did the work and he charged me like he was doing a belt change 3hrs labor

At some point Harley started using bolt on frame horns...so you could still be passenger ready with all factory parts.

Bryce

I hope those strut covers hold brotha! Even though you don't carry a gal back there I'm not sure it's still safe man. Those are just covers andthe stock horns were there for the wieght support. I'm sure you could run some inside support kinda like a strutless fender does. Good luck man and be safe!

Great job on the conversion Bryce.. the 200 tire definitely looks better, its a shame tread life pretty much sucks on them.

The frame horns don't support the rider. My fender struts would probably hold my wife without problem with the frame horns cutoff.

Default cut the struts

Thanks for posting the pics. Im new here and have been searching for info on cutting my 03 fatboy struts. It just freaks me out. But I have aquired a huge Jim Nasi strutless fenderand Im wanting to do it. How did you cut the struts off and any regrets as to not being able to use the factory fender ever again? Thanks.

Cutting of the factory frame horns might not be a good idea if mounting saddle bags and rear luggage racks is important to you.

Looks great!! I put a 200 on my standard as well, but used the stock swingarm, so to say I squeezed it in would be an understatement!
Did the swingarm from the 06 fit with out any problems?

Looks great. I looks like you used a different fender, and of course a new wheel, but did you have to change the swing arm?
