My wife and I will be there on Monday and leaving Friday staying at lamphere my wifes first time at rally leaving from Detroit Lakes MN about a 600 mile trip cant wait only four more months

 

I rode from Hollister, Ca last year. 3,800 miles in 11 days. So awesome! Can not wait to go again in'13.

 

Valdez, Alaska................3000M one way. 5 days down, one week back. EEEEEEHHHAAAA

 

How do you guys already know exactly what day your hitting the road? ****, I don't even know what I'm doing next week, let alone next August! I've been there in '03, '04, '05, and '07. Maybe I'll be there this year - but I won't know until I'm on the road. Planning is certainly not my strong suit.

 

Sorry don't get the Fly in truck my bike thing, to each his or her own... For me its the Journey in going to places like Sturgis is what its all about not just being there to get a T-Shirt... My summer goal is Albuquerque then back to Sturgis then down to Green Bay then maybe Florida and only home when i have too...

 

A group of us are leaving the 4th form Springfield OR. We are riding up to Glacier Nat Park down through Yellowstone. Hit Sturgis a few days and head south through the Colorado Rockies into Santa Fe. Right around 5k miles.

 

My first trip to Sturgis, driving up from Dallas Tx with buddy. We are leaving Aug 3rd, return back 9th or 10th. Hey if anyone is interested I purchased 2 nights in Hot Springs hotel that Im selling for under $300. Since its our first trip, we are dong it right and staying like walking distance to rally.

 

I am planning on being there all week. Coming from Billings, Montana.

 

Buddy and I riding out for our first trip, leaving NYC and camping out along the way. Looking forward to it

 

5 of us heading out from central Maine (2100 miles)on the 3rd...staying for the entire rally. This our first time to Sturgis and staying at the Buffalo Chip....from what I hear, it's gonna be the time of our lives, can't wait. Be safe to those who are making the trip.
