Default Rocker Sitting Position w/Heartland + Shotgun

Gents, I'm looking to put a heartland and shotgun on a rocker, but am concerned about having to lean forward to grip the stock handlebars. (I'm 5'8") For those of you with this setup, how is your riding position, sitting up straight or do you have to lean forward when you've got the bike slammed? Just wanna make sure before I commit $4k for the setup...

j33ptj contacted Heartland and they got Danny Gray to add padding to change the stock Danny Gray seat that comes with the kit as far as I remember him stating.

Worth calling them with your concerns about being too far back for the stock bars/foot controls.

5'9 here

Bars are kicked forward also & no dramas at all...

I'd guess with the standard bars it would be less reaching

Go for it, you'll love it

Not the thread jack but did not feel like opening up another Heartland Thread.

For the people who has the Heartland kits, how much lower and how much set back are the seats compared to the stock seats?
I am only asking this since I am probably the shortest rider for the Rocker C in the forum.
I am 5'5" and rode all the way home from FL to NJ without any issues.
However, looking in to some nice seats as well as being able to flat foot the bike......(I'm use to not being able to flatfoot with my sports bike but...)

I was wondering if the seats will be lower by 2-3 inches, moving your seat back 1-1.5 inches might be doable since your leg is diagonal to the forward control.

I wouldn't be concerned if I was at least 5'7"........

If anyone has any approximate info on how much the seat is setback and lower than the stock ones, I would appreciate some information.

And again, sorry to thread jack!

Fire, if your not totally set on the HL kit, try a FXCW seat. Its hell of a lot cheaper and it sits you lower and doesn't really move you back. Before my HL kit I had the FXCW seat. Also you can lower it a little so you can reach the ground a little better.
