Thanks for your reply.
I was thinking the same thing but that will lose the function of having a second seat option.
But again, I can get the Danny Gray suction cup pillion with reinforcement for the rear until I can save up the big bucks.
But for reference, how much lower do you think is the FXCW seats?

I do not want to lower the bike since the lean on it right now is fantastic.
I am so used to leaning the bike since I came from Sports Bike scene first.
My XL1200C is scraping the peg everytime I go out so the idea of lowering harley for me is iffy right now.
But thanks for the thoughts!

Anyone else?
More info would be appreciated!

Fire, it felt like around and inch lower. To me the Fxcw seat isn't as wide as the Fxcwc, so maybe thats why I felt like I could reach the groud better also.

Hawaii-Five-Jo, Much Mahalos for your reply.
I might just get the FXCW seats for now as I had no problem with my butt doing 10 hours riding on it.
If I want to go Heartland 280, then I need at least close to $5,000 before I bite the bullet.

I shall see if I can source some used FXCW seats on the forum.

Thanks!

I have no idea how it was possible for me to ride 12 hrs but it was definitely a lot nicer than the 3 hours drive I did with the XL1200C seats coming back from Boston...
That was a nightmare...

Well, I don't want to sit 1 inch back since I am short.
I want to be lower around the same position as the FXCWC seats.

I looked in to the heartland 280 conversion and realized that you have to have the Air Ride with that setup to make the fender look not out of place....
That project is going to be faaaar faaaaar away in the future for me.

This thread has a good picture of DragonSlayer08's bike with the FXCW seat.
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ut-system.html
You can see it will sit you lower that the FXCWC's seat. The FXCWC seat looks flat and about parallel with the road.
A side picture of my bike bone cold stock.

I don't know why no one has mentioned it, but if you remove the two up seat from the pocket of the FXCWC seat it becomes lower and softer. Try it

Wow, thanks everyone for the great info.
I am sure this thread will be useful to new rocker owners.
I just got myself a seat from a member here for a good price.

At the same time, I wanted to do the 2up seat like the "DragonSlayer08" ones which should be pretty comfortable for the passenger in the future.

Thanks for all the info!
