Hopefully the quality issue has been resolved,I have had one ordered since the end of January, still on backorder along with diamondback brake lines.

Most people seem to have issues with the fitment of the trim rings on the nacelle. It seems that there is usually a bit of a gap between the ring and the nacelle.

Any Nacelle you get will have to be from a specific dealers inventory, from the factory they are back ordered to April 30th. That is right from HD as of today. If you do a search you will see alot of people had quality issues do to them coming in damaged.

Thanks, I know about the QC issues, and I'll give it a good check when it arrives, but the headlamp trim that I have wont be any good, its one with a built in visor, i would prefer to replace it with one that also has a the visor, need a part no.

Mark, Nacelle Visor Trim Ring part #69733-05 is the visor style I believe you'll want. The description at the HD site list two different ones and the other is the plain, flat one. I guess I should have added, if you ordered the Nacelle 67907-96C. From reading some threads on here it sounds like in the past folks have had issues with getting the ring to line up etc.

Did you also order the hardware kit mentioned in the description?

I had to wait 4 months for my Nacelle, my dealer was able to find it at another dealer after the 3rd month of waiting. Want to kick myself for not getting the trim ring. I was too impatient when I got it and sent it straight to paint. That and the dealer forgot to send the cowbells with it
