I believe you will need a load equalizer...? Maybe even come with the LEDS?

Good luck.

Mosttimesyou need a load equalizer. Kuryakyn LEDs come with one. In the installation directions it says to install the LED first and then test to see if the operate normally. (flashnormal speedand self cancell works) If not the equalizer must be installed. If you have a Panaceatail light the module has one already and you would just wire the additional one on the tail light load equalizer.

Biketronics Smart Equalizer will do the trick. No heat, alarm compatible, delivers more power for brighter lights, complete plug n play (no splicing), and one unit covers the whole bike no matter how many LEDs you add. And a no hassle manufacturers lifetime warranty.

Get it here. Custom Dynamics

Ditto. I just went through this. See the Biketronics BT801 thread in the electrical forum. Bought mine from Custom Dynamics. Excellent customer service and I believe they are having a sale until the end of the year. The smart equalizer was a no brainer for my situation.
