Default First Ride of The Year

The whether gods are smiling on us up here in Canada, 70 degrees + for the past week. Normally this time of year we still have a couple feet of snow. Any way I put about 100 miles on the ride yesterday, I'm still smiling.

Good weather is a wonderful thing. I rode to work yesterday myself. That was a new one for me on the first day of spring. My first ride of the year was on New Years day this year. It was pretty cold, but since there was no snow/ice I had to go!

Same here in MN. Was in the mid 70's last week. It's now 51* and will be raining till Saturday, but I can't complain. This is nice weather for March. Hell I even got some seat time in February.

I am so jealous, I keep hearing about the guys making their first ride of the season. I won't be able to get on my bike until mid June.

Same for here just South of Chicago! I had not only my 1st really good ride of the year but the 1st really good ride since I got the bike and all of its mods done! It was truly sweet! The bad side? My hips I posted a weak or two ago I may have to have hip replacement surgery. If I can get out of town where I don't have to raise and lower my feet so much, I am fine. Well, its better that way at least! I think I am just going to try to tough it out this year. After my ride yesterday, I just gotta have more and I am going to do what ever I gotta do to keep it in the wind!!!

Same warmth in Massachusetts. Normal highs this time of year is about 45 degs.

Been in the 70's the last few days, low 80's today and high 80's predicted for tomorrow!

Normally, I don't even take my bike out of the garage until April, I already have 600 miles on it this season!

I love global warming!!!!

Only supposed to hit around 74F here today, but 80F Thursday and Friday, then drop again. Still not bad though more rain after that. Not complaining at all since summer will soon bring 110F+ temps. Toasty then.

Global warming for sure. Just got in from ride number 2, holy **** it's 81 degrees. I live in Northern Ontario Canada this is unbelievably. The last time I rode in March I was in my early 20's. I had a beater Kawasaki and damn near rode year round, snow suit and all. I hope this is a sign of good things to come
