Question Danny Gray Weekday Solo or C&C Solo?

Hello folks, trying to decide between these two seats. It's hard since you can't try them out, so I am hoping to get the lodown from anyone who has one. The Danny Gray has an "Airhawk" option that lets you adjust the firmness with an airpump.

Thanks for any help!

C&C Solo is a great seat. Can't compare it to the Danny Gray line, as I've never tried them, but C&C is very well liked and a popular choice. I've had mine for many years now and it is my primary for all but long rides or two-up. I've also got a C&C Sport Tour for shorter two-up rides with the wife, and it is similar to the Solo with the addition of the passenger pillion. Both are great seats. Chuck does great work!

Thanks Roger! Why do you not use it for long rides? Does it get uncomfortable?

I have tried a Danny Gray and a C&C. I found the Danny Gray to be a bit firmer so it really depends on what your rear end prefers.

Just got a cc solo and rode it for the first time. 200 miles, all twisties, 6+ hours saddle time with a couple breaks. Could have easily ridden more. I was very surprised how comfortable it was.

Is that the one in you sig picture? Is it pretty low profile? I just got a bare bones, I like the look but can only ride for a little bit.

All right, looks like a landslide for C&C.
Thanks!

Sorry can't comment on the Danny Gray as I've never owned one but purchased a C&C recently & found their customer service excellent, really helpful in helping me put together exactly the design I wanted & the quality of the seat is second to none!
Only made a few shortish journeys since its been on due to the winter over here & found it as comfortable as the standard for those, hoping to put some good miles on it soon with the weather changing for the best but am sure it's gonna be fine!

Yeah, I called over today to see about ordering one and I had some questions about customization. You must have talked to someone else, because the guy I was talking to sounded like he didn't want to talk to me at all. Not very helpful. We'll see how it goes...
