Neck bearing replacement...
Whats the trick to getting the lower neck bearing off the tripple trees?

The service manual says you can use a chisel to start it loose and then pry it off with a screw driver.
The best was is to use a bearing splitter IMO.

Heat it up with a torch and it should drop right off... You'll have to get a new bearing. I turned it upside down and held a torch on there for a while all the way around and it eventually just fell off. If you pry too much with a screwdriver you'll scratch the crap outta the trees

hell ya dude. Took me about 5 minutes of goin around it to get it hot enough, then it dropped right off
