Default Radial front tire, rear bias ply tire

I have a 2005 softail standard. Currently I have a Dunlop D402F MH90-21 front tire and a Dunlop D404 150/80B 16 rear tire. My rear tire is still in good shape. My front tire needs replacement. I want to go wider but I dont want to change my rim. Can I put on a radial front tire?

I know on cars the general rule is not to mix radial and bias. Would assume it to be the same on bikes

IF you're going to mix..the radial has to be on the rear, the bias on the front. Other way around, you increase the risk of the front end washing out on a turn. Sorry...

I think the biggest you can go on that front rim is a 100 wide I may be wrong though
