have you checked out the search tool on the forum? there's tons of topics on tires.. the most that come up are the Metzeler ME880's, Pirelli Night Dragons, Avon Cobras/Venoms, or most recently, the Michelin Champion II series (i think they're called)

Metzeler or Avon. I find both to be quite sticky and if you keep proper tire pressure in them they should last just about as long. Tire life is dependent on if you ride two up and how much stuff you carry as well as how you hand the throttle and if you have a motor build.

While we're on the subject, my front dunlop is about gone and I'd like a nice sticky replacement. Metzeler or Avon, eh?

On my 4th lop 401 rear, OK with them and all have averaged 10k when I change

thought about to going to E3's this time till I just started reading about the new Michelins commanders 2..

dont know what Ur size is, but if its 150-80-16 then they have it.. and are claiming up to 25k on the rears..

This also has a video talking about them.

yes i have done some searching on here, but most posts on this board anymore relate to the newer 08-newer bikes

i was curious what sizes in the different brands would work on my particular bike, thanks

I finally had to look up what Ur tire size is because U still haven't said what it was!!..

NOT everyone in here knows all the different size tires of each Yr of all the bikes have..

I have two words to tell YA....GOOGLE SEARCH..

Seems since U've been a member longer than I have, I thunk U'd know that if U can't find an answer to a ?????. Then GOOGLE it..

Since I am as lazy as U are and I aint going to type more Than needed, I'll give U some links since U haven't looked much and/or haven't saved any over the YRs.

U should learn a lot if U take the time to at least read through those above,,

Let me know if they helped YA...

25k on a rear tire. Even half that would warrant serious consideration.
