I had one on at one time. It is for sale now if you are interested. I also have the High Flow Air Filter Kit with the Desperado cover for sale as well.

I had a Super E on my bike for a while. I switched to a Super G a few months ago because I have a 100ci big bore kit on my Evo and it needed more air.

Are you considering one? It worked great on my bike before the big bore kit. It was still running fine but the G got me a little more power with the changes I made.

Simple astetics really. I just didn't like the look of it on my bike. I put the stock CV and air cleaner cover back on this past summer. I've also got those SE II+ slip ons for sale if anyone is interested in them.

They are Santee LAF pipes 2". There are no baffles or heat shields. I love these pipes! (My neighbors don't!) Extremley loud and when you back off the throttle they pop and shoot flames. Very cool. No one will want to ride on your right. Besides jetting the carb I coated the inside of the pipes with kreem blueshield to keep them from bluing. They just turned gold about 6" from the head. I like the way it looks.

cool
did you notice a loss of low end torque?
reason i ask is cuz i pulled the baffles out of my v&h pipes and lost all my low end
put them right back in
not sure if its something a tune would cure or not
i dont mind loud..........hell the louder the better

ive got a S&S Super E on my 90 fxstc. the motor is bored and ive got a ev27 cam. carb works great, starts good and idles good. the only thing i had to do to it is a rebuild, the accelerator pump wasn't working. i bought the bike used a few years ago with the carb already on it.
