I sold my last bike, a '06 XL1200R, a few months back, had a little health issue plus my older son is getting married in May. If everything works out I hope to be getting a new machine after the wedding.

One of the 2 I've narrowed it down to is the Slim, after seeing it last week on the showroom floor & sitting on it I would need to make a seat change.

This model screams vintage style to me, as such I would want to go with a 2-1 header system ending in the old single "cigar" style muffler. I would also change to the springer seat from the Crossbones.

Any suggestions on where to find the type of exhaust I'm looking for? I can't seem to find anything from all the usual "big name" retailers for a modern bike.

My days of long distance riding are long behind me (I'm 55 & been riding on the street since I was 18), at the most I'd take a few 4-5 day in-state trip (I live in Colorado). 99.9% of the time I'm out on day rides with a few stops along the way.

You might end up having to weld O2 bungs to a set to get the look you're going for on a EFI bike.
