Interesting that the bolts give you an extra inch of lowering when you do a Deluxe since it's an inch lower from factory.

Another option you may consider is if you don't want to go through the hassle of diassembling the rear shocks and taking them apart to be able to lower your bike, we offer a really great alternative. This kit lets you drop your bike 1-1/2" without disassembling, or even removing, the shocks. It's installs quickly and works great. We've heard nothing but great feedback from people who have used it. You can find it on our site HERE and we also have step by step directions on how to install it. If anyone has any questions about it, let me know.

We also carry the traditional Progressive 422 shocks and other lowering kits, but for a quick, easy, and cheap way to lower your bike (and something that's completely removable if you ever decide to go back to stock) this is the best kit out there.

Get it to where it will lower the bike 2" and cost $16.00 and you got a deal.

Well, ease of installation and removeability is worth something, but I do agree about the 2". I'd gladly have taken it down 3" if I could.

I got my bolts today. Pulled the shocks, installing the bolts tomorrow at work. Been searching for info on adjusting preload, but can't find out anything specific. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looks sick without shocks, can't wait to get them back on.

Loosen the big nut that is against the plate. use the spanner to turn the plate. clockwise to soften, CCW to firm.

So, I just loosen the large nut, and turn the shock with the spanner wrench? Sounds easy enough. Thanks.

Got my shocks reinstalled and adjusted the ride height, still need to adjust preload. Loving it so far.
