I have ALWAYS said, "Don't ever come between a guy and his Harley". Its hard to imagine the things we can dream up to mod our bikes or a reason to ride them!! This is just a perfect, text book example!! Right on Dude!!!

Anyone have a pic of how far down they dropped a bike the ride solo?

Mine at stock height and then lowered about the height of the white wall. I did tighten up the preload so that it wouldn't bottom out as easily. At first I had it about 1/4" lower but raised it up just a tad.

was hoping someone might have had a pic of how far it was when they tightened the bilts on the lowering kit.

Well I meant as they were mounted in the bike, so I had an idea how far I could go.

I don't have any pics of that but I would say go as low as you want but I would leave a couple of threads showing past the lock nut. Just to be on the safe side.
