Default Ghost Wheels for a Heritage

Does anyone have an opinion on putting Ghost Wheels on a 2009 Heritage?

aren't Ghost Wheels those things that look like training wheels? Not saying that in a negative context, just wondering

Had to look it up to know what they were.

Being 62 now, that's another option I reckon if I ever have to go that way.

Never seen them or know anyone who has them.

Yes they are like training wheels. But you can release them to move with the bike too. So you can still lean in turns. I'm asking this because the wife has some nerve damage and has lost a lot of her leg strength about knees down. It will make everyone happier to see her back on the road

OK, so this is for your wife's bike. I think that would be a great idea so that she can start riding again.

I have to be honest, I didn't know what they were either till that other rider posted that website and video about them. I think ANYTHING that can keep a rider in the saddle has it's place. In the past week I have found out I need hip replacment surgery. I took my bike out the other day and I could barely ride it, in fact, I had to turn around and bring it home. My hips hurt so bad it was to painful to raise and lower my feet when I stopped. If my only option were the goast wheels, I would put them on my bike. I would do just about anything to be able to continue to ride. They actually look kind of neat the way they engage and disengage! I am still gojng to have the hip surgery over these though as they are affecting my quality of life. The Doc assured me I could ride pain free after the surgery so that's the route I am taking.

She doesn't like the idea of a trike or sidecar. But feels that the Ghost Wheels would still have the old bike feel to her bike

I watched that video, that's great for people that have nerve damage or amputees. How much does that cost?
