The new Heritages have a digital tach/gear indicator in the console. You can toggle up the clock, tripmeter(2), gear/RPM, milec to emty etc, works slick.

Hey, ACRoadking!
I think that there is only about 50 lbs differance between the RKC and the Heritage Classic. What attracted you the most about movng from the Road King to the Heritage? I'm shopping now and leaning towards the King Classic. I just thought that since most of my rides are 200 milers, with 2 up, that the RKC, with Cruise would offer a bit more comfort, and still offer a light bike, without all of the tupperware.

It's home!
Finally got my Heritage home and in my own garage last weekend. Had a great 4 1/2 hour ride down from the Pocono's pulling my trailer. Bike was great, ride was great, power was great, ankle was great, weather was great....can you tell I'm happy? lol! After 7 months of no bike in my garage, I love opening the door and seeing it full again. Now to start getting some serious riding in.

A few weeks ago I had commented on your YT video, about how much I liked yours,as I just got an '02 FLSTC(Jan13th).I didn't know you were a member her too, lol. Here is a pic of mine.First street legal bike I've had since I was a teen(when I was 16,I spent all my farm workin' money on bikes(68 Sportster,750 Commando, etc, then G'pa had to sell 'em to keep the farm...Damn),and although I've only got about an hours ride time,I love it!
One thing I've noticed maybe someone else can explain(off topic,I apologize),is nearly every HD I see, regardless of the year or model, has a different tank emblem. Is there a code to them for where they were sold or something?I can Google '02 FLSTC,and can't seem to find any the same?I don't have a lot of knowledge on HD,Is mine not stock?

Hey I was born in Atlantic City and its where i bought my Heritage after moving back out here I transformed it into this. The fairing comes off in about 60 seconds and the old windshield can go back on or not. There is no such thing as a short ride here in the mountains so fairing is always on. Ive sat on a buddies ultra cause i thought i might want one , big negative there no where near as comfortable to me. Good luck with yours
