Default Passenger back rest on the Deuce

Alright, started ordering parts for the Deuce today, ordered V&H Bigshots staggered, and Arlen Ness Big sucker 2.

well i need to find a sissy bar for the back of it.

this is the seat that is on the bike

looking at just the HD sissy bar, simple because im guessing it bolts onto the fender? and no braces off the strut braces

now the dealer told me the other day, that you have to order the pad seprately? is this correct? And does this bolt to the fender or is there some other trick...

or which would you guys reccommend

Probably will keep the seat on for this year, but may change it to soemthing a little more sleek looking someday in the future.

On mine I had to order the pad separate. The pad generally has a bolt which will attach it directly to the sissy bar. I have the
One-Piece Detachable Tall Passenger Sissy Bar Upright Part No. 52729-08 and put pad Part No. 52631-07 on it.

If you are riding 2 up change the seat before she has a chance to become accustomed to it or else you will never get away with changing the seat out from under her to something smaller with less padding.

My 2 pennies

Pad separate and it bolts under the seat not to the struts, because the struts don't have any screws.

I might still have my deuce backrest if your interested. I'll take a look not 100% I still have it

The Deuce sissy bar bolts to the fender. I think there is a short and tall one, I know there is a tall and short pad. Yes the pads are sold separately. I use the Sundowner as well, It's been pointed out to me that it is a fugly seat but it is comfy on those long hauls. I have the original Stripper seat for those times I change the bike from touring to cruiser, but the wife rides with me most of the time so I run with the bags and Sundowner cause she likes to take stuff and won't sit on the Stripper seat. Set up for touring in my sig. pic.. There is also a luggage rack, (small but useful), that bolts to the sissy bar. It's sold seperately as well. You will get used to the phrase," fits all but Deuce". Enjoy, Dennis
