Default My 2000 Heritage Classic Exhaust

I am looking to change the exhaust on my 2000 Heritage Softail Classic from the Vance & Hines Softail Duals w/Fishtail tips to the V & H Big Shots Long. Does anybody know where I can get a good price on the Longs, and would anybody be interested in my Softail Duals? Thank you.

I will take an offer on them. The pipes are in excellent condition. Fishtail tips and V & H Quiet baffles in them.

How well did the baffles tone down the loudness? I put V&H Bigshots on when my softail was bought new and later had motor and head work done and now its just too loud. Doesnt have the "rumble". Thanks for any opinions or advise

According to the V&H tech I spoke with, the quiet baffles quiet the pipes down about 3db. It isn't much, but it does change the tone from a wide open "crack" sound to more of a low end growl, which I think gives it a classic Harley sound. The way I can describe it is to take a towel, and cover a blaring stereo speaker. You can still hear it plenty loud, but it tones it back a notch.

DKING,
Also after talking to the tech at V&H, the Bigshots by design are about another 3 db louder than the Softail Duals that I have. The Bigshots are one of the loudest pipes Vance makes. I think my Duals have a perfect sound, I'm just looking to change the looks of the bike. Mine are in excellent shape if you'd want to do a trade?

Was thinking that I might have to change pipes to really change the sound but havent decided which way I want to go- duals or 2 into 1. I'll send you an e-mail with a pic of my bike. I have Bigshot not Bigshot Longs.

Craigslist is my friend. I had no problem selling my duals on CL. I even found a set of Big Shots Long for $200 there. I had to drive 2.5 hours for them, but made for a fun road trip with the daughter.
