Default Russ Wernimont rear fenders.

I am planning on a strutless fender kit for my Rocker in the very near future. I was up at the local dealership and the ones they have from Heartland were around 2000 to 3000. I came across the Russ Wernimont kits which can be had for 1000 or less. That's a hell of price difference and I just want to make sure they're a quality product. Haven't found much in the way of reviews on them so I wondered if anybody on here were familiar with them.

Yea, I have the heartland and I hear ya extremely overpriced for a fender and two struts... Motorcycle industry is like the oil companies not much competiton and a close community so the price is dictated by them... But if you can find a similar product cheaper go for it be the first to write a review.

"price what the market will bare". If people stopped buying the Hearland kits, they would be half the cost by tomorrow.

i guess i am not sure what seat would work well with it or fit it.

add: upon review it doesnt fit many years of the bikes. very limited it seems

I'm doing my part.

I won a rear stock fender on ebay with the intent to extend the stock one on mine. Not a curb scraping length. Following the lines of the stocker and maybe running thin supports from the swingarm up to the fender if I decide to go for a different look.

Its actually not strutless the struts are welded on the fender. I have the hl with frenched in tag and i paid $2500 for it. If i would of known about rwd back then i would of bought that instead and used the money i saved on a shotgun shock. I did recently buy a rwd front fender and the quality is good

Yeah, the welded in struts has me thinking,

My buddy John's American Iron Horse has hidden struts under the fender for a much cleaner look.
