Softail Electrical plug. Can you tell me what this is for?
Found this plug as I was fixing a pinched wire, this is located this under the back bone. Can anybody identify what this is for? Thanks for the help.

Found one just like it when i lengthened my wires, believe its just an extra not sure what its for but mine has one laying there as well. Teflon

It looks like the plug for the fuel guage.
Not sure what year you have.
I have a 02" springer and that's where my fuel guage plugs in.
