I don't know the production numbers of EFI versus carb on the Heritage Springer, but I can say that my 2001 came EFI (Delphi), so while the HS were all 5-speed, many of each year (at least 2001 and up) were available EFI too.

Real good read here for me.

I just got done looking through all the ussual online places for either a Heritage or a Classic that was not priced silly, found three I liked. Unfortunately, two of them are right here, I would love to have Dave's Heritage and equally, Crash75's is Awsome...I tend to like bikes with uncommon stock paint sets, I've had a greenish bike, dark blue and my present one is Metalic Teal and silver.

I'm just going to take my time and find the right combination of color, mileage and price...
