Default lowered bike - shorter kick stand?

I have lowered my bike ~1" this winter, and while my stock kick stand still works, it doesn't seem as safe as it was at stock height, like it would be easy to knock the bike over. Have any of you gone with shorter kick stands once you lowered your bike? If so, which stands do you recommend?

Thanks

Lowered mine 2", I used this stand. It's 1" under stock (which means its actually 2" shorter than stock, i think. They list stock as 13" and this as 11") and works just fine. not as much lean as stock, but seems plenty secure. It did take a little grinding to get it to fit the stock control mount, but I was cutting the stock mounting tabs off anyways. Only downside is most aftermarket stands do not lock, so be careful where you park and always leave it in gear.

i have lowered my night train about 1.5 to 2 inches and use the stock kick stand. been using it for 2 year and have not had any problems at all. sometimes you do have to watch what kind of angle you do park on.

Lowered mine 1.5" in front with no problems with the stocker kick...
I definitely have trust issues with her (oh if i had a nickel for that last line)
I just never park with my front turned to the right.. Never a problem..

Mine has air shock lowering system. The standard kickstand seems to do.

Wouldn't think just a 1" drop would be that significant with the stand height. HD has the lowered stand and there are several aftermarket options. If you feel you need one, get one, only you know how secure yours is.

You can also have the one you have bent more. I just dropped my Deluxe 2" in the front and have the shotgun shock. I took my stand off and went and had it bent not quite a 1/4" at the first bend from the top and it gave it enough lean that she is secure.

Haven't tried it with the wheel turned left. The way she parks in my garage the wheel has to turn right. Maybe it won't be such an issue when turned left.
