I just picked up my '13 Slim (pics to follow). Does anyone know if a fatter rear tire can be fitted?

I gotta '12, and I'm looking to do the same, nothing crazy, at least to a 150 or 160. Spec wise front and back are the same size just about but visually it doesn't look it. I think the tire rubbing on the fender is going to be the main issue with no other modification. I have to replace my rear tire (10,000+ miles) soon so I'm going to discuss it with my mechanic.

Cool

Thanks ! It has been made by a french upholster named Yves Moillo, based on the genuine Slim seat but much better for long rides.

That is a real nice seat! Good idea to get it redone, I have to do the same. Details on the upholster?

What size and make are those apes?

Harley only makes those lights with the turn signals in chrome. eventually i will get them powder coated. if harley made them in black with the turn signals then i would have put those on there.

The apes are Santee 14" inches and 1.25" diameter. The upholster is french so it might be a little too far

So i like the wide tire kits you guys are using on these slims. I got in touch with Heartland and they make a bolt on kit so to speak. I had a few questions for them but they have not replied as of yet. Are you guys using the stock rim for these conversions or what. This kit shows that there is no offsets for the primary or belt that are needed.....which would be awesome if this was the case. Think i am about to pull the trigger on this kit when I get some more info....;.
