I love the way my slim rides especially with the ape hangars. Other mods are on the way among them springer front end and a 200 rear.
I could be wrong but you should have put the springer front end on at the same time as bars. Not sure if your bars are springer riser friendly. You may be changing bars again.

Nice! I actually saw your bike this yesterday, Well I'm always there on the weekend. A lot of people thought it was a floor model until we turn the ignition and saw the 1,100 miles and I figured it was a someone bike. Looks good, how much did empire charge for the first service and what did it run to put on the black front end? Maybe I see you there one weekend, I have the same model.

What is the docking hardware for? Did you get saddle bags for it? Looks nice BTW.

Great looking bike. Really like the Derby and Timer covers. You say they are one-off's... ? Bummer, I'd like to get a set of those.

So Al, Cooper and Jake were telling me.

Service was about $425 but I opted for the VIP programme when I bought it as I ride year round and it'll pay for itself in the end with the money I save.

I'm not sure what the price was for just the front end, I don't have the bill in front of me, but all the extras I put on were about $3K and required 12 hours of labor.

Cool, please introduce yourself if you see me.

Docking hardware is for a sissy bar or luggage rack which I see myself using possibly for longer trips like Sturgis this year. Had it on my Sporty. Very useful. I don't like a full time sissy bar, luggage rack or bags so the docking hardware gives you the option to use these things and quickly take them off and on.

You should be able to get them done by someone locally. All they did was hit them with the wrinkle black and tap off the 103. Harley doesn't make the covers in wrinkle black so Empire took care of it. If you are in NY, go see them, they'll do it.
