Hi Wally, your ride looks awesome! Are your bars the RSD 7.5in Vintage Shortstack? Really like the way you've blacked out your Slim too. Look forward to seeing more pics when you've finished your mods.

Question Lowering question

I picked up the first one at the local dealer in March for the wife. Shortly thereafter, I ordered the pullback handlebars w/riser kit. (Had to install new cables & brake line also.) The wife is only 5' tall & even I at 6' tall just don't dig the "Hollywood" bars. They look cool but the ergonomics suck.
Anyway, got the bars powder coated when they came in & installed by dealer. Now the bike feels more laid back & "easyridin". Unfortunately for the wife, she has issues getting her feet firmly planted on the ground. I think this is primarily due to the width of the HD powerplant. I am considering getting it lowered for her but bone stock, the floorboards scrape when you get aggressive in the corners. Can you guys that have lowered the bike please chime in & supply me with part numbers, etc.? I can't find anything listed on the HD site.
Also, does anyone know if there is a way to raise the floorboards? I saw one post where the boards were swapped for pegs. I wonder what would be required for that option as well.
Thanks for any help! By the way, when I first rode the bike stock, I felt like I was on a BSA bike back in the sixties. Wondering if anyone else had that impression.

I love the way my slim rides especially with the ape hangars. Other mods are on the way among them springer front end and a 200 rear.
with your future mod plans, I am confused why you didn't just buy a cross-bones.

x2, I don't get why guys buy Slims and make huge changes to the bike and don't appreciate what it was meant to be.

Saw one in person for the first time at the dealer yesterday. It was red instead of flat black like most of the pics I've seen. Never much cared for the flat colors. I really dug it, so much so that I was dreaming of what how I would customize it if it were mine.

If Captain America rode it.. It's good enough for me!!! I'm a proud owner!! Only If I can be in the movies it will be a plus.
