Default Question for your Slim boyz....

My wife is really showing some interests in the Slim, but she is dead set on having a 200 rear tire. Will a 200 fit with out changing the swing arm? Any input will be helpful.

Thx,
Billy

It will not fit, fender is too narrow, best you can do is a 160

I think it would look good with a 180 on the back! But the 150 is just to skinny for my tast on the rear! Especially when you have a fat tire up front. Does that bike come with a passenger pillion at all? I would imagine it would be a tiny seat that would only fit on the back. I still have to see it in person so thats all i will say about it till then! But like i said before the rest of the bike i like from what i can tell...

has anyone put a slim seat on a xbones? or does anyone know of a company that makes a seat for the xbones that looks like the slim? the seat on the slim is the exact look i've been searching for for the bones.

Thx to both of y'all. The fender wouldn't be a problem. She would be getting a bobber fender like on my Lo.

Part numbers from the current Harley-Davidson 2012 Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories catalog, page 216. (Softail seating)

Minimal customising required to mount Spring Seat Hardware on Softail Slim... Single metal post/clip removed to mount spring/post plate, drilled new hole in plastic cover to match existing seat mount.

Just ordered the same seat and hardware - I like the look on yours - I may have some questions when I try and install it - any advice would be helpful - the dealer had no ideas if it would even fit - thanks in advance - karl
