Fits like it was made for me, and it just looks like a motorcycle should.

Why do I own the Heritage Springer Softail:

Because they ride so nice; agile enough to maneuver in-town, handles great in the twisties, and is comfy for long-hauls too. Comes with all of the bells and whistles (like bags, seat rail (and unique-to-the-model seat), alarm, dual exhaust, tombstone tail light, two-toned paint, etc). One thing I really like: I almost never run into another rider who has one! I love that not everyone has one.

Enough love for one post?

When you speak it sounds like me talking. I'm 63 and have had many Harleys since I was fifteen and I feel the same way about my 2010 Heritage Classic . Best riding, handling, and smoothest Harley I have ever owned. Heritage forever for me.

Fits like a glove... The best all-round HD going. Great to strip down for around town, then load it up and drive it cross country. If you can only own one motorcycle, it should be a FLSTC.

I love hearing your comments. I just got a new 2012 Heritage on Thursday. Had a SuperGlide for a year and realized I needed a little more bike. I bought it without ever having ridden one. The first time I sat on one, it just felt right and fit right!
I like the fact that I can totally change the look of it in five minutes. The passenger seat, backrest and footpegs were removed within an hour. My wife won't ride with me, she tried it once back inthe 90's and was petrified. I ride solo. besides I'm too old, not good looking enough and not enough money to get a hot biker chick.
I was able to get out for all of 10 miles on Saturday. temp was 38*, I was 5 miles from home and saw a storm squall coming down the mountain...headed home quick. Pulled in as soon as the snow hit. 10 miles is better than 0 miles.
I see that 3 out 0f 9 post, so far are from guys in their 60's.....hmmmmm? AL

Make it 4 of 10, 61 for another few months. I love my Heritage, it wasn't what I set out to buy; was looking at Fat Boys but once I sat on it I was hooked. The only problem was it had beach bars that I thought I would hate but those are great too.
Comfortable, reliable, fun to ride, just a great all around bike.
