+1 more on the Heritage bandwagon. I love the nostalgic look, and the bike handles like a dream. I really like the easy-change flexibility too. My signature pic below shows my bike in it's solo configuration. But its very easy to take the saddlebags / back seat & sissy bar on and off... so I switch between solo & 2-up whenever I want. Other bikes may come and go, but I'll always have a Heritage!

 

I love my '96,it has the classic look,rides great,fun to ride.I'm 49 so it should be the last bike I will ever need.

 

Mid 40's here from Nova Scotia Canada. I was a long time metric rider. Started out with the street bikes and then transitioned into the touring models with Kawasaki and Honda being my favourites. I travelled to vegas 2 years ago and my buddy wanted to rent Harley's for a ride to Death Valley. We chose the Heritage at the time as it seemed to fit our riding style. We didn't know it at the time but it was the best choice we made that week. From the moment I sat on the bike I was in love with it. Fit me like a glove. Loved the rumble and the feeling of riding the open roads in Nevada is hard to explain but I came home from that trip and sold my Kawasaki and purchased a Heritage softail. Love it..my only regret...I waited to damn long to try Harleys. I will never go back to metrics. I thought about the touring bikes briefly but the Heritage is more suited to my riding style and preference.

 

Comfortable ride with a classic look!!! What more is needed? Definetly not a radio, Tv, and Ipod....Thats for sure!

 

I'm 68 and this bike fits me like a glove I am 5'8" and my weight is 165 lbs. Its a 2011 Heritage, love the Retro look and the sound. I traded for it Memorial Day Weekend 2011 and I have over 5K on it before I put it up for winter. I like the Road King Classic too, But I like all HD.....

 

I love the style. It stands out from the 1,000,000 Street Glides around my area, and I think she chose me, kinda like Christine.

 

this is my first bike of any kind. and i bought a heritage (2012) white pearl, i have not rode it yet do to weather. but bike fits me well and looks so f...ing cool.
i cant wait to get riding. im 47 yrs old and will ride solo wife will not ride.

 

I'll be 65 this year and have been riding for almost 50 years. My '09' Heritage is one of the easiest bikes to ride I've ever owned. Also, at my age, it's about as much weight as I care to handle anymore. 22,000 miles in 2 1/2 years and it's been great.
