Default Cams and big bore

Well finaly getting into the motor now, just looking for a nice little bump for riding season.

HQ-0034 cams and a 95 big bore kit. I would go with a 98 but I dont feel like doing heads right now. Im just trying to catch up to the 96 guys...lol

Cams, instal kit, forged pistons and bore of cylinders, TTS Mastertune tuner, pushrods, all labor and a dyno tune for...

$1750 not too shabby.

This is a new Indy shop in town and I know the owner, he was a Harley mechanic for 20yrs. They did my buddies police bike motor and that thing pulls nice and sounds great.

Cant wait for the snow to melt now.

Why do you like SERT over TTS? Im getting a dyno tune so I figured it would be a custom tune through the RPM range with individual cylider adjustment if nessesary.

TTS cant do this? I have heard good things in other threads.

Neck deep in the same boat at the moment. Andrews 37 and 98" big bore. Curoius why you can't go to 98" w/o head work? I've talked to a few builders that said no problem (including GMR who's doing my jugs). I'm at $1100 but performing the work myself (minus the boring).

I guess I walked in and asked for a 95 and when I mentioned later about a 98 he probably said that without head work I wouldnt notice a difference.

Why do they even make 95 kits?

my dyno guy prefers the TTS over the screaming eagle race tuner..check with your guy to see what he likes and go with that.
