When doing a bolt on custom like most of ours its easy to over do it in the frenzy.
The problem I've had is when you change one thing, it requires something else to be added or changed up a little to complete it! For example the floorboards, you put custom boards on that are blinging - IMO you gotta complete the upgrade with custom foot controls to finish it off.

Engine will be the same way, Cams...but then you need heads...but then you need a big bore kit...etc.

I guess it never ends

Hanging out in this forum, it will NEVER end!!! LOL Seeing all the sic mods and the ideas begin to take control. I'm hoping to hold off on the internal performance mods for a while (yea, sure..lol) because while you have it torn down, you might as well send the heads off to have diamond cut etc etc...no, it never ends.

Local salesman tried talking me into trading my bike in this past Saturday. I told him that I just started getting it the way I like it and if I traded it in, I would have to start over with the personalization. He laughed saying that was the idea.

Just say no to...

Sounds like a great big conspiracy to me, I knew they were out to get us, or rather our money.
Sad part is that we are often our own worst enemy when it comes to personalizing our bikes.

OK enough of that crap let the modding begin, or rather resume, sorry wallet, you loose.

Seriously, I'm starting with a bare frame next time.

Check out Softbrake.com.

If you're looking for the slotted levers, they have what your looking for, both in extended and reduced reach.

Personally, the HD ones are excellent quality IMHO.

I ran one of these on my Dyna a few years back; good product. May be worth a try?
