Default 2003 Heritage Part Number Help Please

My Dad is looking to replace his Cobra's with stock pipes, because it's too loud, and he's too old, but he is having a tough time knowing what parts to buy. Can one of you fine folks help out with Part Numbers? He needs the headers, donuts, exhaust, and heat shields. 2003 Heritage Softail. I know there are several years that took the same exhaust. Do they all have different numbers?

If someone has a set collecting dust, he would prolly be willing to take them off your hands .

Thanks for your help with this one.

That would be a very expensive system buying it 'piecemeal' at the HD counter. You need to find someone with the same bike and get their old system. I'm sure there are a lot of them laying around out there.

Use this site to make a list of the part numbers. Once in your cart, the part number will be listed. Then try ebay for a matching system.

any stock pipes will work from your 2003 to a 2011 off of a heritage softail when you get to 07 models the headpipes have the o2 holes you can go to the auto parts store and get 2 18mm oil drain plugs works like a charm.

Perfect! Thanks. We found take off set from a 2011 brand new. Dad traded his Pythons straight across. I think the other guy got the better end of that deal, especially since when I inherit the bike, I'm gonna want to go with some louder pipes.

Threw mine away two yrs ago after sitting in the attic for 3yrs, but I bet there are still some out there, problem is gonna be shipping charges,$$$$, even if U get them free.

Check with Ur dealers around U house, they may have some take off's laying around or maybe know someone who's willing to sell their old stock sets.
