Rear Wheel--What to do?

RE: Rear Wheel--What to do?
I like the back wheel - but would be perfect for me if chromed. I'd look at a chrome swap, like the fatboy's have been doing for years. Trade your wheel in for the same thing, but you'd get the chromed version in return. $400 around here through some of the local dealers.......

No offense, but that 17" wheel is probably Harley's best effort in forcing the buyer into a change.
I'm not sure what the design staff was thinking, but maybe ***** called down and told them "boys, butcher one"..
Go custom.

If Willie C said anything it probably was: "Lets create a blank palette at an entry level price that riders can customize to be their own"
A lot of guys probably would have been better off starting with the Softail Standard rather than buying a more expensive model and doing modifications on almost everything.

RE: Rear Wheel--What to do?
I have the same wheel. I am in process of switching out my front wheel to a fatboy wheel and fender. I will probably end up keeping the rear wheel as is for the time being. I will probably have the rear wheel chromed.
If you ride with saddlebags, they don't show too much. Everything about the Harley is Huge Dollars
