On a my TrainI will keep the stock blk wheel and get a custom one in front probably the chrome six spoke wheel in the H-D book.I dont see investing $$$$ in the rear wheel you barley see it anyway with the sproket, rotor etc.Plus the rear blk solid stock wheel in back especcially on a Train looks good.

I put a solid polished billet rear 17x6.25 Renegade on my 06 NT for around $600.00 . Looks much nicer than the HD wheel , got it through HogPro.

ORIGINAL: chops

Dump it for a custom
I own the '07 Standard... I rode a '98 springer for years... luv'd that bike. I also luv the standard. If it doesn't make it run faster or better it don't need to be on there. Although... I like a little bling myself. My softail is pretty much anything but standard now. I agree with chops and most people do end up going custom wheels sooner or later anyway. Get custom. I have the polished on the rear myself and in the future I am changing out the fender like chops has with a spoker for the 200mm tire. I am a spoker man myself.

Hey, I GOT THE SAME BIKE PRETTY MUCH AND I WAS ALSO IN THE SAME SITUATION, SO I GOT A NEW FENDER MADE FOR THE 200 AND A 18" X 5.5 60 SPOKE WHEEL FROM DNA AND IT SUPPOSIBLY FITS WITH NO PROBLEM. I JUST HAVE TO MAKE OR BUY SOME SPACERS. BUT WHEN DONE IT WON'T LOOK LIKE A NITEWTRAIN WHEEL IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
