Default My bike is going in for paint

Well it was until about an hour ago
I have decided to get a new paintjob on my Deluxe, spent a lot of time and money on it in the short time I've owned it, which is a little less than a year, taken a long time to decide on what I want, picked a painter, and booked it in.
They were supposed to be coming tomorrow to pick it up, take it away and strip the tins off, which they would then give back to me, and paint the spare tins that I am supplying, then fit them and return the bike to me 2 weeks later.
Just had the phone call from them telling me that it snowing where they are which is about a hundred miles or so, and in the countryside, so they arent coming till tuesday now, I was all excited about it and now I'm totally pi**ed over it. Damned British weather, you guys are so lucky over there in the States.

Mark, think of it another way, you don't want their van having a smash with your ride in it! It is meant to be really bad over the next couple of days, again!

Will be very interested in seeing how it turns out, no concerns with the painters, I know they do good work!

It snows here? When? I never have to put my bike away. Of course it does sometimes get so cold I have to wear a jacket.

Make sure you post so before and after photos.

Well as far as hurricanes I havent had to worry about that since 2004 and even then wasnt much here where live alot more hype than reality. Seems like more tornadoes and blizzards all over the rest of the country than we have hurricanes. What you are also forgetting is here in the warmer states the ladies wear less clothing more often.

I'll look forward to seeing what you do with it. Pretty exciting ain't it

I'm seriously considering a new paint job every year, or at least every other year.

Thanks guy for cheering me up over your weather over there,
We've had another conversation since my last post, and he said that he's going to pull all the stops out and guaranteed it will be back with me in 10 days which is great news as that takes it to the same day I was getting it back anyway.
