Got my Dunlop WWW MT90B16 F and WWW MU85B16 R for less than $300 from Dennis Kirk. Local Indy shop R&R with one new tube for $115 ($100 for the R&R, $15 for the new tube). Dealer would have charged at least $70 more per tire and over $250 to install, plus tube(s).
Have your Indy check and replace the brake pads if needed. It is the easiest time for the change. If S/He is cool, S/He should only charge you for the cost of the pads. That is what my Indy did. My rear pads needed replacing.

The guys are right. $500 would be about right at the dealer. I just replaced the rear; got the tire from motorcycle-superstore for $138 (free shipping), tube from the stealership for about $25, and Indy charged me $60 to install and $2 to dispose of the old tire. Same shop charged me $110 for front and rear on the Monster plus the cost of the tires.

Went to Road Rider in San Jose. A huge motorcycle store.
I was right at $300 OTD for both. ($25 ea M&B)
I had to R&R the wheels myself, but big deal. Good chance to
clean in where you can't other wise.
They were (OVER) $50 less per tire than the dealer (For the same
exact tire)
These were for the stock Dunlops. (I know!!!)
Might try the E3's next time. He didn't have the
right ones at the time. I (almost) went Metz. The
made in Brazil threw me.
I'm for supporting dealers & local business . . . but not getting hosed
(HD Home of the $80 Oil Change)
