BSLs on my Heritage. With standard baffles, the pipes are loud, but not obnoxious. Walking the fine line between loud and obnoxious. SJ Ron

I have BSLs on my 2010 Heritage. I really like the look, but dang they sure are loud! So I tried a couple of things. The Big City Thunder QQ2 Baffles made them almost acceptable. But I was still setting off multiple car alarms in my neighborhood just rolling by at 20 - 30 MPH. So I added the homemade baffles (see pictures) in addition to the QQ2 Baffles. Between the two I only set off an alarm once and awhile and 1.) My neighbors are all OK with things and 2.) I don't need ear plugs no matter how long the ride is.

I like mine. They have the standard baffles. They are loud though. I would't mind them being a little deeper.

Are you in the market for new or used?

I have a nice set of BSL's that I will be taking off my 2006 Softail...shoot me a PM if you're interested. Buying a nice set of used pipes will give you the opportunity to try them for yourself...and if you don't like them then you can resell them without losing much, if any, money.

My GF just ordered me V & H Big Shot Duals for my other bike (2009 Street Glide) and also Big City Thunder Monster Baffles (I have these in my Big Radius on 2012 Blackline). The Monster baffles aren't just louder, but sound a lot deeper than no baffle or the V & H baffles.
