the throttle doesn't snap back like it should? try tightening the return line while loosening the throttle line (those two cables coming out from the bottom of the housing).. mine took a lot of finesse and care to finally get it to snap back properly.. also, if you put any "lube" on the handlebar before you installed the grip, that, too, could be slowing it down.. just a few thoughts..

how do you like the throttleboss? i love mine, wouldn't go without it.

Check the throttle adjusting screw under the right turn signal housing. You may have tightened it.

I just received mine yesterday...will be joining the club soon!

Any hints on the install...I know to watch for the cable ends and the glue dries very fast.

That's an understatement.. It's absolutely disgusting how fast the Kuryakyn "black widow" glue dries.. arm yourself with an ice pick to pry them back off when you screw it up (not saying you will..but you will.)

Here's something I learned from putting on the ISO blacks.. Make sure you put them on, assemble them, and reassemble your switch housings before using any glue.. the clutch side grip didn't actually have to slide the entire way on..and when it did, there wasn't enough room for the switch housings to sit flush anymore.. so measure twice, and glue once.
